Decatur Woods Park Playground

Help us choose a new playground at Decatur Woods Park!

The playground at Decatur Woods Park (1015 Decatur Street SW) will be replaced next year and we need your help selecting a design. We have six playground proposals and all the designs offer unique play experiences for age groups 2-5 and 5-12.

The new playground is expected to be installed in summer 2027.

How to vote

Check out the six playground design packets below, then select your favorite in the poll at the bottom of this page.

The poll will close October 18, 2026.

Notes:

• Colors shown in the designs may not be the final color selection.
• Participating vendors, their employees, friends and families are not permitted to participate in the poll.
• Swings - many playgrounds include a swing set and it is a popular feature. Due to the limited footprint of the Decatur Woods playground, it is difficult to fit swings into the design because they take up such a large use area.
